Delete your account

You can delete your Euron account at any time, without contacting us.

In the app

1. Open Profile, then the Settings gear.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We act on it within 30 days.

What happens

• Your account is marked for deletion straight away and you are signed out.
• For 30 days you can change your mind by signing back in.
• After that, your name, email, handle, photo, posts and comments are deleted.
• Financial records are kept, separated from your identity, for the period the law requires — usually five to seven years. A double-entry ledger cannot delete one side of a transaction without corrupting the books, and we must be able to reconstruct transaction history for regulators.

Withdraw any balance before deleting. A deleted account cannot be reopened after the 30-day window, and funds left in it are handled as unclaimed under the law that applies to us.
